Meet Thomas Stengel, MD

At Brain2Spine Institute, Dr. Thomas Stengel is a leading provider of neurological operations to residents in St. Petersburg, FL and the surrounding areas. At the practice, Dr. Stengel offers surgical treatment of spinal cord tumors, herniated discs, hydrocephalus or water on the brain, abnormal brain growths, brain hemorrhage, and spinal canal narrowing or spinal stenosis.

Dr. Thomas Stengel graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) located in Milwaukee, WI in 1991. Following his graduation, Dr. Stengel interned at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. He went on to complete his residency at MCW and completed a fellowship program at Baylor University where he learned a great deal about spinal instrumentation.

He currently works in Saint Petersburg, FL and specializes in Neurological Surgery. Dr. Stengel is affiliated with Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg, St. Anthony’s Hospital, and Northside Hospital. He is also certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. At Brain2Spine Institute, Dr. Stengel is devoted to providing his patients with the highest level of care and utilizes the latest innovations in order to offer patients the best possible results.
